As I have grown as a photographer I have taken a shine to abstract images. When I took this shot at the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park my immediate thought was “I can go home now, I got the shot” upon seeing this image on the back of the camera. I was so excited, you should have seen me in my tent editing this image on my laptop hooked up to a battery pack. I simply needed to see that it was everything I hoped it would be! And I was not disappointed. This image will always hold a special place in my heart.
