Tidal Stream

On a very early morning trek to Ocean City, Maryland I found the tide to be lower than I had ever seen before. As I wandered down into the sand to look for compositions I was immediately drawn to this tidal stream in the sand. As I approached it I began to sink into the wet sand quickly soaking my shoes. I set up my tripod in the stream and used the river itself for a leading line. With the sun almost rising behind my back I shot off this frame with the blue skies of dawn and the reflections in the foreground. This was a great start to a great day!
