Reflections Of Fire

Limited Edition of 50

I found myself back at Sandy Point State Park in Maryland before dawn again. This morning was chilly but not too cold. As I walked from the parking lot into the sandy beach, I could see the beginnings of a nice sunrise in the making. I was excited to see the tide was in the perfect place for me to use the rocky groupings as a foreground subject. I opened my tripod and set it up close to the ground to accentuate the size of the rocks. Now it was just a waiting game, the chill in the air began to multiply its effects as the cold breeze off the Chesapeake Bay blew by me. But I was not to be deterred or denied my shot. I hunkered down and began shooting as the clouds began to reflect some of the golden light of dawn. I could see my image on the back of the camera and I got excited because I was getting exactly the shot I had in my mind.
