This image was taken in the Great Smoky Mountains during Autumn. I drove by this tree several times on the road through the park before I finally was able to pull off and walk back to the tree. The red of the Virginia Creeper vine really stood out amongst all the yellows and greens of the canopy leaves. It was just calling out to be photographed and I was happy to oblige!
