This star trails image was taken at Oregon Ridge Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. I have always been fascinated by this old wall on the way into the park. When I realized you could sit outside the wall and face north (the North Star, Polaris, is at the point in the center of the spiral) I knew what I needed to do. I lit up the wall during one exposure and took many 30 second exposures and then stacked all of them. The wall obviously did not move, the stars did creating the circle that you see.
