This image was taken with a technique called Low Level Lighting where dim lights are applied to the foreground in order to light it up but just enough so the foreground and the sky to expose at the same rate. This was taken on Hooper’s Island, Maryland. What I remember most from this shoot was the number of bugs hovering around my lights. Luckily they were too busy with my lights to attack me!
