I was out roaming through the Prettyboy Reservoir in Maryland one cloudy day when I stopped at the Beckleysville Road Bridge. I wanted a real dramatic sky so I pulled out my 10 stop neutral density filter which made my exposure 5 ½ minutes allowing the clouds to blur in the image. Then I had to line up the clouds properly with the bridge so the whole composition would feel balanced. I love the juxtaposition of the moving clouds and the unmoving bridge.
