This is one of my favorite shots from my 2024 trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. The sunlight hitting only the tip of the ridge lighting up the trees and shrubs on the ridge remind me of a spine running up the mountain side. Nothing beats being in a National Park surrounded by tourists and photographers taking wide angle shots and me throwing on a long lens and picking out intimate details of the mountains. I see what lens they are using and know that my shot is much more unique!
