Of all the beauty in the American Southwest the most sublime might be Upper Antelope Canyon. Despite the constant flow of tourists and photographers I can easily see why the Navajo people held this place sacred. The steep walls, the gnarled rocks, and the powdery sand all hint at the destructive nature of the flash floods that rage through the slot canyon. I fell in love with the patterns and lines that make up the canyon walls. This place truly is a photographers dream, I could have spent hours in the cool, shaded confines, shooting composition after composition.
