About - Benjamin DeHaven

A lifelong Maryland resident, I enjoy travelling to various points around the US. I have been blessed to be able to practice photography full time since 2010. I am always in search of the "Grand Landscape" while keeping my eyes open for more intimate landscape images. I am proud to live in country that sets aside vast acreage for our National Park System and seek to document the beauty that we have preserved for future generations. I also have a passion for birds, I am a birder as well as an avian photographer. I have seen over 300 species of birds in the continental US. I take great pride in showing my avian subjects in their natural habitats and take great care to ethically photograph and document their behaviors.
